Using the automatic test account? That account exists only on your device. No hosted account is created. Use the local-data steps below; you don’t need to request server-account deletion.
Delete an account in the app
If you created a real account, open Settings → Delete account and confirm. This removes your hosted profile, linked sign-in identities, sessions and subscription entitlement records from our active database. It does not cancel a store subscription or remove local conversations from your phone.
Request deletion here
If you cannot access your account, send a request using the email associated with it. We will verify ownership before deleting information. Submitting this form records a request; it does not immediately delete an account. We aim to respond within 30 days, subject to applicable law and identity verification.
Delete a response report or support request
To request deletion of a report or message you shared with us, use our support form, choose Privacy or data request, and include the reference number from your confirmation. You can also contact offlineaichat@neu.so. Do not send the conversation again. We may ask for information needed to verify the request. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Clear data stored on your phone
- Conversations: open Settings → Clear chat history. Export anything you want to keep first.
- Downloaded models: open Models → On your device → the model’s three-dot menu → Delete.
- All app-local data: delete the app and its data using your device settings. On iOS, choose Delete App rather than Offload App. Separately remove any conversation files you exported.
What is retained
Server backups use a seven-day rotation; expired copies are removed by the daily backup job. The request itself is removed from our active database 30 days after resolution. Records may be retained where legally required. App-store purchase records are controlled by the relevant store and are not erased by deleting your Offline AI Chat account.
